SQ1 Security hosts Null Chennai × CSA Tamil Nadu Monthly Meetup on AI and cybersecurity

SQ1 Security hosted the Null Chennai × CSA Tamil Nadu Monthly Meetup at its Chennai office, bringing the community together for a morning on AI and cybersecurity.

Event Highlights

SQ1 Security hosted the Null Chennai × CSA Tamil Nadu Monthly Meetup at its Chennai office, bringing together members of two of the region's most active security communities for a morning focused on the intersection of AI and cybersecurity.

About the communities

Null, India's largest open security community, has spent over a decade giving security professionals a space to exchange ideas on emerging threats and attack techniques. CSA Tamil Nadu, the regional chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance, brings a similar spirit to cloud security specifically, with more of the region's infrastructure moving to the cloud each year. Together, the two communities cover a lot of ground, from security research fundamentals to the practical realities of securing cloud environments.

What the sessions covered

The morning opened with a session on AI detection and response, where Satheesh Kumar (Celestica) walked attendees through how to catch and stop breaches before they escalate. Santhosh NarayanaDass (DevOps) followed with a look at Zero Trust for AI Cloud, unpacking what it takes to secure AI-driven cloud environments as they grow more complex. The meetup closed with expert insights from Rajesh Aravind M, Head of InfoSec and DPO, rounding out the morning with a practitioner's view from the inside.

Why hosting mattered to SQ1

Communities like Null and CSA run on the people who show up to organise, host, and share, often for free, often after hours. Opening SQ1's Chennai office for the meetup was a small way of giving that effort a place to land, and a chance to be part of the same open, practitioner-led conversations that have shaped the security community in Chennai for years.

About SQ1 Security

SQ1 Security believes the strongest security thinking often happens outside the boardroom, in rooms full of practitioners trading notes on what's actually breaking and what's actually working. Its AI-native platforms, Stakflo and Scani5, are built on that same practitioner mindset, helping organizations automate compliance and manage vulnerabilities using the same real-world threat intelligence that fuels conversations at events like this one. Supporting communities like Null and CSA is part of how SQ1 stays close to the ground its products are built to defend.
